So, maybe you find yourself thinking
“I am totally ready to grow in well-being, but how does this work?”

 

The best way to determine which approach will best suit your needs and help you reach your goals is to schedule a pre-session. During this 30-45 minute appointment we will get to know each other better, you can ask specific questions about coaching, and ultimately get clarity around your next steps. I offer pre-sessions for free as this is a necessary step before we enter into a coaching relationship.

Well-Being Coaching

Through this type of coaching, clients will work to become more aware and accepting of themselves, learn valuable coping skills for managing stress, effective ways to calm the mind and body, and increase their overall well-being. With this coaching you will:

 

  • Engage your body through breath, gentle stretches, and coordination exercises designed to calm your thoughts, connect you to your body, and increase brain plasticity
  • Have access to tools for self discovery designed to help you move forward utilizing your strengths and measure your growth in well-being
  • Work toward understanding your thoughts and uncover patterns of thought that lead to unhappiness
  • Be seen and heard with kindness, empathy, and compassion
  • Have an accountability partner to help you stay on track with action steps and goals
  • Cultivate tools to help you reframe limiting beliefs and get unstuck
  • Learn and practice techniques that appease feelings of anxiety, depression, and overwhelm
I utilize the Know Yourself series developed by Anthropedia Institute as a structure for well-being coaching. This whole person approach to coaching involves exploration in all aspects of being; body, thought, and soul and is based on the latest research from mind-body medicine, personality development, and other mental health and well-being experts. The goal in this coaching is your overall growth in well-being which includes health, happiness, creativity, vitality, and satisfaction with life. This contemplative work leads to lifestyle transformation.

Co-Active Coaching

This is a collaborative process intended to support you as you build awareness around and discover solutions to problems that are creating resistance and preventing you from moving forward. I want you successful in all areas of life and that involves awareness and taking action! In co-active coaching sessions we will work to:

 

  • Create vision for your life
  • Build a map for that vision
  • Identify and set goals
  • Create an action plan designed to help you achieve the goals you identify
  • Bring what you know into what you do with accountability

 

Each session will involve S.M.A.R.T  goal setting along with a plan for action and accountability to support your success. Doing this will help you achieve your goals while staying grounded and focused along the way.  The agenda in this coaching changes from session to session and is always determined by you! You know yourself better than anyone. For optimal success, I recommend a blend of well-being and co-active coaching.

Mindfulness Workshops

Interested in learning more about how to be mindful? Mindfulness is a way of life that, with practice, helps you to be more present for yourself and whatever you are engaged in. In these workshops you will:

 

  • Move your body gently in order to connect and become more aware of your breath and body
  • Engage in a guided formal mindfulness practice
  • Have an opportunity to journal some reflections after the movement and meditation
  • Learn the foundations of mindfulness practice, both formal and informal
  • Discover ways to begin making shifts in your lifestyle for this practice
  • Connect with yourself and your group with compassion and kindness
  • Leave with an understanding of mindfulness and have some concrete practices you can use immediately

Each workshop is curated for your group of people, whether in a work or personal setting.
